Adjustment to grant boundaries
Given the impact of inflation and the cost of living crisis on demand for services and the associated costs to charities, EKCT’s Small, Medium and Large grant boundaries have been raised as per the application information below (18/05/23).

Cost of Living for Sussex-based charities
We recognise the challenges that rising costs are having on local charities, which will likely impact services for vulnerable people in Sussex.
EKCT Trustees have approved a small amount of additional funding to assist those Sussex charities most in need. This is to help meet increased costs such as utility bills for vital day and residential services, staffing costs to meet the additional needs of beneficiaries during a cost-of-living crisis, and fuel costs. We have therefore amended our grant application form to include space for you to provide information about the impact of these cost increases on your charity in addition to your main application for funding. Please note Trustees regret they are unlikely to be able to provide support for the increased costs involved in running a charity office, or for charities not supporting beneficiaries in Sussex.
If you are struggling to meet increased costs but have already made an application to EKCT in the last year, please telephone or email us for advice using the contact details on this website. (Updated 24th July 2023)
